Biography
I don’t paint to represent.
I paint to make you feel.
I create artworks that invite you to pause long enough to meet yourself.
For more than 11 years, I have been developing a figurative painting practice where the gaze, texture, and contrasts become a language. My portraits don’t seek to tell the whole story. Instead, they leave enough space for each person to find something that belongs to them.
I paint what draws me in about being human: what attracts us, confronts us, brings us together, or asks to be seen.
My journey is self-taught. I chose to build my practice in my own way, to explore, reinvent myself, and go wherever something feels true.
Nagie doesn’t paint a trend.
She paints a meeting.
